At the Ministry of Youth Affairs conference room on Tuesday 3rd November 2020, the Minister Mr. Mohamed Orman Bangura officially launched the Social Good Summit 2020. The Social Good Summit is held every year by the UN to bring young people together to discuss global solutions to problems within their communities.
For seven years now, UNDP has been supporting this initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and National Youth Commission.
This year ten young people will make it to the national pitching session after the district and regional selection. The theme for this year is “Innovate for beteh Salone’ and the winner will earn Twenty Million Leones (Le 20,000,000).
Application forms are available at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, National Youth Commission and National Youth Service offices across the country. Applications will be collected from youth nationwide till Monday 30th November 2020.
How can one download the application form online?
Thanks and appreciation to UNDP and the ministry of youths for such venture. It’s good for continues engagement of young people to change their negative mindset.
My problem here is, the application form is very, very difficult to have access to it. As I speak now, when you go to these places where you can see the application from, they will tell you that the hard copy is not available. More especially in the Provences, specifically in Bo.
Let there be social media platforms where we can easily apply. Some of us want to apply, but we are deprived.
